Upon arrival, once through customs and immigration, our driver will meet us in the Arrivals Hall to escort us to our private group transfer to our hotel for check-in and breakfast.
At 3:00 pm, we’ll meet our English-speaking guide for a half-day Old Dubai City Tour. We’ll experience the old town of Dubai and the City of Gold by starting at the creekside to witness the beautiful skyline of Dubai and a walking tour in Bastakiah area. You’ll step back in time to enjoy the atmosphere of Bastakiah, one of the oldest traditional Emirati neighborhoods set in Bur Dubai. Next, we’ll visit Shindagha Museum and Perfume House. The iconic Dubai Creek area is the home to our museum, where we can experience the vibrant history of Dubai. Shindagha Museum tells the universal tale of human innovation, resilience, and the desire for progress, which shaped the Dubai of nowadays. When we visit the Perfume Museum, allow all your senses to be stimulated and delighted in the realm of exotic Emirati fragrance, while delving into the skills that bring them to life.
After the museum, we will transfer to the Abra station (water taxi) to transfer to the Spice souk. As we walk, we’ll discover a great selection of authentic spices, incense, and traditional perfumes.The big entrance of the Gold souk welcomes you to see for yourself why Dubai is called the City of Gold, with some free time to shop on your own. At 7:00 pm, we’ll drive back to hotel, where you can dine and relax at your leisure. (B) Hotel: Radisson Blue Waterfront
Enjoy your included breakfast and leisure time on your own this morning. This afternoon, we’ll board our 4×4 land cruisers (6 passengers per jeep) and head out towards the desert. At the entrance of the desert, your driver deflates the wheels of the 4X4, and then the fun starts. Dune bashing is known as a fun experience – you will feel the thrill of desert driving as your professional driver takes you up and down on golden dunes. A beautiful desert photo stop is also included Then, we’ll drive to the Bedouin Camp, where we’ll be greeted with a traditional cup of Arabic coffee and have the opportunity to try riding a camel before it is time to settle down for our barbeque dinner. Later on in the evening, enjoy the Tanura dance and a belly dancer that will enchant you with her dances, a truly magical night! (B,D) Hotel: Radisson Blu Waterfront
This morning after breakfast, we’ll venture out with our English-speaking guide for a half-day Modern Dubai City Tour
where we’ll discover the modernism of Dubai. We’ll pass by Jumeirah Mosque and then stop for a photo opportunity along Jumeirah Coastline with a stunning view of Burj Al Arab, the world’s luxury hotel and then visit Madinat Souk. Souk Madinat Jumeirah combines the traditional Middle Eastern shopping culture of stands, barrows, and stalls with a mix of boutique brands, souvenir gift shops, luxury fashion, and jewelry. Our tour will then continue as we visit one of new Dubai’s most prestigious areas, Dubai Marina, with its high-class boutiques, restaurants, and many skyscrapers. We will then drive on the largest man-made Island, “The Palm Jumeirah,” where we will have a photo stop opposite the luxurious Atlantis the Palm Hotel: a magnificent oceanic tribute to the mythological age.
Next, we’ll head to Dubai Mall for a photo stop from outside the world’s tallest tower Burj Khalifah. You’ll also have some free time at Dubai Mall. This afternoon, we’ll drive back to the hotel, where you’ll have plenty of free time to refresh.
This evening, we’ll be heading to the Dubai Marina for the Evening Dhow Dinner Cruise, which is a two-hour cruise to view the fascinating skyline and scenery of New Dubai. Dubai Marina Dhow Dinner Cruise offers the most prominent sights of lit-up skyscrapers and surrounding residences around the Marina, including the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, the Dubai Marina Mall, a conglomerate of five-star hotels, and other fascinating architectures. To top off the experience, our cruise will be accompanied by a gourmet 5-star international buffet dinner. At about 10:30 pm, we’ll drive back to our hotel. (B, D) Hotel: Radisson Blu Waterfront
This morning after breakfast at the hotel and check-out, we’ll transfer together as a private group to the airport for our flight to the Maldives (flight is not included in pricing). Once we arrive in Male, we’ll transfer by speedboat to our 5-star resort, where we’ll check in and start to enjoy our stay in the Maldives! (All-Inclusive) Hotel: Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma
We’ll be enjoying these 5 days at the resort where you’ll have a myriad of opportunities to explore, relax and enjoy aquatic activities.
Located just a 45-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport Malé, our contemporary resort is a tropical wonderland with world-class diving sites and surf breaks right at our doorstep. We’ll be located on the South Male Atoll.
Six restaurants & bars offer a range of culinary delights for your dining pleasure, with themed evenings and private dining options to enhance your dining experience. Today you’ll arrive home in the USA after you say goodbye to your new lifelong friends from the Sisterhood.
International roundtrip airfare from JFK-New York is an additional cost of $1699.65 and includes your flights from JFK-Dubai-Maldives-Dubai-JFK. Flights are in economy class on Emirates Airlines and we will be flying as a group. There is no option to upgrade to Business on our group flights. We will send you the information to confirm your air arrangements once you make your booking.
The flight from JFK to Dubai is 12 hours, 35 minutes. The flight from Dubai to Male is 4 hours, 20 minutes.
