Thursday, August 11, 2022 Welcome to Scotland. Proceed through customs and meet our driver/guide in the arrivals hall to begin our Scottish adventure. From the airport you will enjoy a half day Panoramic Edinburgh Tour ending at our hotel for an afternoon at leisure.

This morning after breakfast at the hotel, we will board our private bus to be fully immersed in our Outlander Experience. Our full day tour will include visits to Hopeton Castle which was used for many location scenes in Seasons 1 and 2, such as the home of Duke of Sandringham. We will then visit Blackness Castle used to depict Fort Williams in Outlander and Midhope Castle which is known as Lallybroch, the fictional castle in the series. The afternoon will be followed by visits to Fife and Culross. Both villages boast multiple locations from the Outlander series but are also quintessential Scotland. This evening you will experience the Military Tattoo with preferred seating. The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is an annual series of military tattoos performed by British Armed Forces, Commonwealth and international military bands, and artistic performance teams on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle in the capital of Scotland. Sunday, August 14, 2022 After our breakfast this morning, we'll journey to Inverness, with a stop in the elegant and cosmopolitan city of Aberdeen. Monday, August 15, 2022 After breakfast, we'll begin our exploration of The Highlands. This full day tour will include visits to the Culloden Battlefield, the powerfully moving site of the final Jacobite Rising – the last and most harrowing pitched battle to be fought on British soil. From here we will visit the Highland Folk Museum. We'll return to Inverness for an evening at leisure and time to explore this amazing place - from the beautiful banks of the River Ness at sunset to the local pubs filled with traditional Scottish music. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 After breakfast, we'll join our driver guide to begin our journey to The Isle of Skye, connected to Scotland's northwest coast by bridge, it is known for its rugged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles. No journey to Skye is complete without a stop at the Eilean Donoan Castle. As one of the most iconic images of Scotland, Eilean Donan is recognized all around the world. Situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet, and surrounded by some majestic scenery, it is little wonder that the castle is now one of the most visited and important attractions in the Scottish highlands.
